Charity Yoga Days
Since the start of Sadhana Yoga we have held annual Charity Yoga Days to raise money for different causes. Since 2007 thanks to your generosity and kindness we have raised over £4000 to raise funds for the Renal Unit at Hope Hospital (2007) and the British Heart Foundation (2008), and last year to Menieres Society.
This years Charity Yoga Day took place on 24th September to raise funds for Salford Autism Support Group SAFA
It was a wonderful day (24th September 2011) and a huge thank you to the cake bakers, face painters, raffle prize donaters, volunteers, Henna Artist Rina, My wonderful mum for her delicous samosas and all the Yogis who bravely took part in completing 108 sun salutations. We are still counting the money so watch this space…
Yoga is much more than the breath and body (Hatha Yoga principles) – Charity
Yoga days are another form of Yoga; Karma Yoga – which aim to help others with
no expectation of reward.
